What effect would constriction of the blood vessels have on the body?

Vasoconstriction is an example of blood vessels resulting from contraction of the side of vessles

When blood vessels constrict, the flow of blood is restricted or decreased, thus retaining body heat or increasing vascular resistance. this makes the skin turn paler because the blood reaches the surface, reducing the radiation of heat. hope this helps

as sunlight enters the earth's atmosphere, blue light is scattered away and at the end of its journey in the sky, only red and orange wavelengths remain in the beam.

hence at sunrise and sunset, the sky appears reddish orange.
