A scientist jumps into a pool off of a high dive. He thought it would be fun to calculate his acceleration during his dive due to gravity, but none of his calculations matched 9.8 m/s2, which he knows is the constant acceleration of an object due to Earth's gravity. His calculations were incorrect for his acceleration in the air as well as in the water. Explain whether or not the diving scientist calculated acceleration due to gravity was most likely more or less than 9.8 m/s2 as well as your reason as why. Your answer should be three to four sentences in length and contain proper grammar and punctuation.
