Read the following paragraph from the section "Making Water Makes SLS Fly." Although it's denser than hydrogen, oxygen also needs to be compressed into a liquid to fit in a smaller, lighter tank. To transform oxygen into its liquid state, it is cooled to a temperature of minus 297 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 183 degrees Celsius). While that's balmy compared to LH2, both propellant ingredients need special handling at these temperatures. What's more, the cryogenic LH2 and LOX evaporate quickly at ambient pressure and temperature, meaning the rocket can't be loaded with propellant until a few hours before launch.

Which idea is BEST supported by this paragraph?
A- Cooling gasses to extremely low temperatures causes them to condense in liquid state.
B- The most efficient and powerful rocket propellants would produce high amounts of pollution, so the SLS uses hydrogen and oxygen instead.
C- Many SLS I'm just having called off because the propellant in the tanks become too warm.
D- Although propellants for the SLS is compressed of basic element they must be process and handled carefully to be used as Rocket Fuel.

Wo small variable-thrust jets are actuated to keep the spacecraft angular velocity about the z-axis constant at ? 0 = 1.16 rad/s as the two telescoping booms are extended from r1 = 1.18 m to r2 = 4.69 m at a constant rate over a period of 124 seconds. the small 19-kg experiment modules at the ends of the booms may be treated as particles, and the mass of the rigid booms is negligible. determine the necessary thrust t for each jet as a function of time where t = 0 is the time when the telescoping action is begun. after you have the general expression for t, answer the questions. show work.
