A copper rod and an aluminum rod of equal diameter are joined end to end in good thermal contact. The temperature of the free end of the copper rod is held at constant at 150.0C and the far end of the aluminum is held at 30.0C. If the copper rod is 20.0 cm long, what must the length of the aluminum rod be so that the temperature of the junction is 100.0C? (Hint: the heat transfer rate is the same across both)
