While out hiking Mr. Stancek comes to a small cliff with water at the base. He decides to pick up a stone and tosses it into the water that is 10.0 m below.
Mr. Stancek throws the rock horizontally with a velocity of 3.0 m/s, how far out from the edge of the cliff will it hit the water?
Please help if you can!! I am offering many points, so if you answer just for the points and not the actual answer, I WILL report you.

Consider a uniformly charged ring in the xy plane, centered at the origin. the ring has radius a and positive charge qdistributed evenly along its circumference. a)what is the direction of the electric field at any point on the z axis? . b)what is the magnitude of the electric field along the positive z axis? use k in your answer, where k=14ĻĻµ0. d)the ball will oscillate along the z axis between z=d and z=ād in simple harmonic motion. what will be the angular frequency Ļ of these oscillations? use the approximation dāŖa to simplify your calculation; that is, assume that d2+a2āa2. express your answer in terms of given charges, dimensions, and constants
