DIRECTIONS: Use the same paper when you submit for both assignments below Assignment 1:
A. Define in your own words the meaning of Newton's 2nd Law of Motion. Explain the
meaning of equation, F = MX A and include how each variable - F, M & A is measured or
labeled. For example, distance is measured or labeled in meters or m.
Assignment 2:
A. Write a QCER (Question - Claim - Evidence (2) - Reasoning (3-5 sentence explanation).
For the Question, you may simply ask, "What wđuld happen if I throw a baseball really hard at
the Batter or Hitter?" or "What would happen if I don't swing hard at a golf ball on the tee?" or
"What does it mean if I can dunk a basketball even though I'm only 6 feet tall?"
Remember the Claim is the answer of the question you've stated. For the Evidence, use your
favorite Sport/Team. Your Reasoning needs to explain in details how the 2nd Law of Motion and
F=MXA are applied in your chosen sport/team.
B. Google a picture of your chosen sport/team and submit it with this assignment.
