Here are some ways that you can control the temperature to influence chemical changes during a typical day.
1. Boiling/Cooking of food such as eggs, soup, meat, vegetables, etc.
2. Baking that includes making a caramel from sugar, and turning other ingredients into some pastries.
3. Burning of wood used for cooking

It won't lose or gain electrons if it's a covalent bond it shares the electrons with another atom or atoms. if it is an ionic bond it will lose the 3 electrons on the outer shell and become a positively charged ion.  credit goes to @sunshinebaby of answers.yahoo.com.
