A stone is shot vertically upward with velocity 12m/s at the edge of a cliff having a height of 42 meters.
i) What is the position(y) of the stone at t=1.5s? Is the stone on its way or down at that position?
Justify your answer!
ii) Find the time when the stone is y=5m above the cliff when the stone is on its way down only.
iii) What is the position(y) of the stone when the velocity is v=-28m/s?
