A spaceship is descending to the surface of Mars where g= 4 m/sec. The spaceship is initially 80 m above the planet's surface and is descending downward at 50 m/sec. The mass of the spaceship is 2500 kg. The spaceship will land on the surface with a final velocity of 0. Our goal s to find the upward thrust force on the spaceship to make this happen. a) Find the deceleration of the rocket. b) Show the net force. d) Find the thrust force on the rocket?
