These are several science questions I have come up with myself whoever is the first to solve all of them will be the brainliest :D Enjoy! A cat with a mass of 3 kg and a dog with a mass of 5 kg are parachuting straight down without any wind. The dog says he will go down faster because he has more mass. Is the dog right? Explain why or why not.
The cat then sees a bird and catches it. She now has the same weight of the dog. Will both animals go down at the same speed?

Lily’s ball is rolling down a hill and she is trying to catch it. The ball’s speed is 13 m/s and Lily’s speed is 10 m/s. How much faster is the ball going then Lily? How much more speed does she need to catch up to it.
Lily put on more speed and now is going 13 m/s if the ball’s speed stays the same will Lily be able to catch up to it? Why or why not.

A 150 kg motorcycle has a 400 N net force applied to it. What is the motorcycle’s acceleration?
The motorcycle driver then picks up his girlfriend making the motorcycle 195 kg with the same net force applied to it. What is the motorcycle’s acceleration?

Lance has a mass of 200 m/s. Lance has decided to walk up a hill. It takes him 30 minutes to walk up the hill. What is Lance’s acceleration?
If Lance decided to walk down the hill with an acceleration of 150 m/s2 with the same mass, how long would it take him to walk down the hill?

Brian the school bully sees a first grader with a mass of 95 kg, Brian then pushes the first grader and the first grader accelerates at 10 m/s2. What was the force Brian used to push the first grader?

Janet wants to know if her goldfish accelerates at 4.5 m/s2 and the net force pushing against the goldfish in the bowl is 7.6 N then what is her goldfish’s mass?

Liam balances a 0.2 kg eraser on his nose and then adds a 1.2 kg eraser on his nose, he then adds a 2 kg notebook to the stack, after that he adds 4 pencils of the same mass and ends up getting . Add up all the weight to determine the mass of all the pencils.
Mary wants to know the weight of one pencil Liam is balancing what is the mass of one of the four pencils Liam is balancing?

As shown in fig. p3.64, a closed, rigid tank fitted with a fine-wire electric resistor is filled with refrigerant 22, initially at 2108c, a quality of 80%, and a volume of 0.01 m3. a 12-volt battery provides a 5-amp current to the resistor for 5 minutes. if the final temperature of the refrigerant is 408c, determine the heat transfer, in kj, from the refrigerant.

Acylinder with a movable piston contains 11.7 moles of a monatomic ideal gas at a pressure of 1.32×10^5 pa. the gas is initially at a temperature of 300 k. an electric heater adds 43200 j of energy into the gas while the piston moves in such a way that the pressure remains constant. cp=20.79 j k^−1 mol^−1 for a monatomic ideal gas, and that the number of gas molecules is equal to avogadro's number (6.022×10^23) times the number of moles of the gas. (a) what is the temperature of the gas after the energy is added? (b) what is the change in volume of the gas? (c) how much work is done by the gas during this process?

Suppose water is leaking from a tank through a circular hole of area ah at its bottom. when water leaks through a hole, friction and contraction of the stream near the hole reduce the volume of water leaving the tank per second to cah 2gh , where c (0 < c < 1) is an empirical constant. a tank in the form of a right-circular cone standing on end, vertex down, is leaking water through a circular hole in its bottom. (assume the removed apex of the cone is of negligible height and volume.) (a) suppose the tank is 20 feet high and has radius 8 feet and the circular hole has radius 2 inches. the differential equation governing the height h in feet of water leaking from a tank after t seconds is dh dt = − 5 6h3/2 . if the height of the water is initially 8 feet, how long will it take the tank to empty? (round your answer to two decimal places.)
