Help me answer these 4 short answer Science questions. (These are due by 8:45 P. M. Tonight)

1. The Philippines generates about 23% of it’s electricity with geothermal energy. What is it about the location of the Philippines that enables it to make use of high temperature geothermal energy?

2. The costs for installing a geothermal home heating & cooling system are higher than the costs for installing a conventional system. What are some factors that might influence people to use them?

3. In terms of environmental impact, what are the advantages of geothermal energy compared with the burning of oil, coal and natural gas? Give examples from current events to clarify this.

4. Engineers have found that when a fan creates a large reservoir, sometimes there is an increase in low level earthquake activity in the area. This situation is similar to the enhanced geothermal energy project in Switzerland which also caused earthquakes? What conclusions can you draw to this??

(I NEED THIS) (IT IS MANDATORY) (If no one answers I will keep posting until someone answers & I get the correct ones & why they are correct) (I SERIOUSLY NEED THIS)

Balloon a has charge q, and identical mass balloon b has charge 10q. you hang them from threads near each other. choose all of the statements with which you agree. check all that apply. a. a and b exert the same magnitude forces on each other. b. the force that a exerts on b is 10 times the force that b exerts on a. c. the angle between the thread supporting a and the vertical is < the angle between the thread supporting b and the vertical. d. the force that a exerts on b is 1/10 the force that b exerts on a.

An charge with mass m and charge q is emitted from the origin, (x,y)=(0,0). a large, flat screen is located at x=l. there is a target on the screen at y position y(h), where y(h) > 0. in this problem, you will examine two different ways that the charge might hit the target. ignore gravity in this problem. 1.assume that the charge is emitted with velocity v(0) in the positive x direction. between the origin and the screen, the charge travels through a constant electric field pointing in the positive y direction. what should the magnitude e of the electric field be if the charge is to hit the target on the screen? express your answer in terms of m, q, y(h), v(0), and l. 2.now assume that the charge is emitted with velocity v(0) in the positive y direction. between the origin and the screen, the charge travels through a constant electric field pointing in the positive x direction. what should the magnitude e of the electric field be if the charge is to hit the target on the screen? express your answer in terms of m, q, y(h), v(0), and l.
