personal reflection is one of the most effetive ways for someone to improve themselves in general. If a person has any problem, and they are in search for a solution, if they look at themselves and how they can improve they are already taking a step into improvement. Looking at your own flaws and being able to address them and the desire to improve can only make the person a more mature and self aware individual.
