A tub of water is filled with an Initial (starting) volume of 100 L. A toy is placed in the tub and the water level rises to 115 L. The toy has a mass of 15 kilograms. What is the density of the toy in Kg/L?
I was told it was 1, can someone please explain why that is?

On a frictionless air track, a blue glider with mass 0.200 kg is moving to the right with a speed of 8.00 m/s. it strikes a red glider that has mass 0.600 kg and that is initially at rest. after the collision, the blue glider is moving to the left with a speed of 3.00 m/s.(a) what are the magnitude and direction of the velocity of the red glider after the collision? (b) is this collision elastic?

Cyclotrons are widely used in nuclear medicine for producing short-lived radioactive isotopes. these cyclotrons typically accelerate h- (the hydride ion, which has one proton and two electrons) to an energy of 5 mev to 20 mev. this ion has a mass very close to that of a proton because the electron mass is negligibleāabout 1 2000 of the protonās mass. a typical magnetic field in such cyclotrons is 1.9 t. (a) what is the speed of a 5.0-mev h-? (b) if the h- has energy 5.0 mev and b = 1.9 t, what is the radius of this ionās circular orbit?

An astronaut on the moon throws a baseball upward. the astronaut is 6 ft, 6 in. tall, and the initial velocity of the ball is 3030 ft per sec. the height s of the ball in feet is given by the equation s equals negative 2.7 t squared plus 30 t plus 6.5s=ā2.7t2+30t+6.5, where t is the number of seconds after the ball was thrown. complete parts a and b.
