A fisherman in the sea watches a bird oscillate on the waves. He notices, he doesn't oscillate simultaneously with him, but he is on the top of the wave δ t = 0.1 t₀ time after him. There are always at least three waves between him and the bird and they are coming towards the fisherman. And the distance between them is constant. How far away is the bird if the wave length is λ = 2m? What is the period of oscillation on the fisherman if he starts moving towards the bird at v=1?
