You and Tim, who is larger than you, are outside with a wagon. Tim (the bigger person) gets in the wagon and you (the smaller one) pull it. As you pull it, you accelerate until you reach a comfortable velocity. Then you stop and switch places with Tim. Tim now pulls you in the wagon, accelerating from a stop to a comfortable velocity. Now, Tim may be bigger than you, but you have been working out and are just as strong as Tim, so the force that Tim uses to pull the wagon is the same force that you used. You both pull with the exact same amount of force. Who was riding in the wagon when it had the greatest acceleration during startup? (2 points) Why? Use Newtonâs second law to explain. (3 points)

The pressure increases by 1.0 x 104 n/m^2 for every meter of depth beneath the surface of the ocean. at what depth does the volume of a pyrex (bulk modulus 2.6 x 1010n/m^2) glass cube, 9.8 x 10^â2m on an edge at the ocean's surface, decrease by 7.5 x 10â10m^3? explain the formula beyond this point: p=1.0x10^4, b=2.6x10^10, l=9.8x10^â2, delta v=7.5x10^â10. at some point l needs to be cubed. why p is divided by delta v?

Why is rain likely when warm, moisture-laden air meets cold air? a) the lighter warm air will rise and cool down, causing condensation and rain. b) the cold air moves faster and pushes the warm air away, causing condensation and rain. c) the moisture in the warm air condenses on contact with the cold air, causing rain to fall. d) the cold air mixes with the warm air, reducing its temperature causing moisture to condense.

Select light for the type of wave, adjust the wavelength so that the light is red, and increase the amplitude of the light to the max. then, select the start button at the source location to begin producing the waves. light is a form of electromagnetic wave, containing oscillating electric and magnetic fields. the wave amplitude detector mentioned above shows how the electric field oscillates in time at the location of the probe. the amplitude of the wave at the location of the probe is equal to the maximum electric field measured. how does the amplitude of the wave depend on the distance from the source?
