An aerialist is to make a triple somersault during a jump to her partner lasting for the time t = 1.87 s. For the first and last quarter revolution she is in the extended orientation with rotational inertia I1 = 19.9 kgm2 . During the rest of her flight, she is in a tuck position with rotational inertia I2 = 5.50 kgm2 .

a. What must her initial angular speed ω1 be around her centre of mass in order to complete the triple somersault?
b. If she now attempts a quadruple somersault, with the same ω1 and t, by using a tighter tuck, what must her rotational inertia I2 be during the tuck?
c. How long does it take for one rotation in the quadruple somersault?
