A global warming is a phenomena of raising of temperature or earth atmosphere at the global level. Manmade global warming is caused by pollution. The pollution is caused by the contaminated gaseous pollutants being released in the atmosphere which raises the global temperatures. This is because of gases which exhibit heat energy like carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, methane, sulphur dioxide and others are released in the atmosphere due to human activities like burning of fossil fuels like coal and petroleum, green house effect and others.  

i just did an experiment like this in my science class. also the answer is yes, it will get separated because they are two opposites meaning if they are opposite they can not attract.
