Heat supplied from the source/ reservoir  (Q₁) - Heat rejected to the surroundings from the system (Q) = Q₁ - Q₂. Also known as Net work done on the system.

Input of energy:

Amount of heat energy supplied to the system from the source (Q₁ ).

Efficiency (H.E) = η = Output÷ Input

                             η  = (Q₁ - Q₂) ÷ Q₁

                      OR η = Wnet ÷ Q₁ ;        since Wnet = (Q₁ - Q₂)

the working equation for the angular size is the product of the physical size and 360 degrees divided by the product of two pi and distance from earth. the minimum size would be 0.559 degrees while the maximum size would be 0.49 degrees.
