The newton's 3rd law of motion states for every action there is always an equal but opposite reaction.

Whenever an interaction occurs between  two objects, each object exerts the same force on each other , but in the opposite direction and for the same length of time.

p1 = p2

therefore

p1 = 6kg * 4m/s

p1 = 24kgm/s

p2=m2 * v2

24 kgm/s = 7kg * v2

v2 = 24 kgm/s / 7kg
