Ems personnel are better know as paramedics. They are the people that are in ambulances speeding down the street to arrive at an incident or a hospital/trauma center. ER personnel are employees that work in the emergency room. There are ER nurses and more! Trauma surgeons focus on the more intense cases. Such as internal bleeding. They are trained to work fast on patients that come into the Emergency Room.
