-6=-8+b. Add 8 from both sides

The equation of the line is Y=2x+2

Plug in 0 for y into the lines equation to get the x intercept

0=2x+2
-2=2x. Divide by 2 to isolate x
-1=x

The x intercept is (-1,0)
