Peter wants to go to the movie cinema with his family of 4 people and the cost of a ticket for the movie is $9.8. Estimate how much would be required for him and the family of 4 to pay for the tickets.

To solve this;

Number of people that require tickets - 5 people

Now, we see that the cost of one ticket is $9.8. To make this an estimate, since 9.8 is close to 10 we will round it off to $10.

Thus,

Total amount the should budget for the tickets = 5 × $10

Total amount they should budget for the tickets = $50
