On the sixth day, the farmer records 20 apples, and on the 18th day, he records 30 apples. Identify the rate of change and describe it in terms of the problem.

Q.2. A catering company purchases 30 two-liter soda pop bottles for an event. To ensure there is enough soda pop to last the whole event, the catering company starts keeping track of the number of bottles remaining. After 20 minutes, there are 27 bottles left. After 40 minutes, there are 24 bottles left. After 60 minutes, there are 21 bottles left. Identify the rate of change and describe it in terms of the problem.
