A constant electrical current is flowing through a circuit. The potential difference, V volts, across the circuit is proportional to the resistance, R ohms. a) Write down a proportionality equation between V & R. When the resistance is 10 ohms, the potential difference is 45 volts.

b) Find the constant of proportionality (k) and write down an equation giving V in terms of R.
