Jerry works for the local supermarket, and he is responsible for collecting and storing the shopping
carts. The shopping carts are stored by stacking them
in a long row of carts. His boss wants him to anslve
some questions in order to find a place to store them.
Jerry measured the length of one cart and found out
that it was 36 inches. Then he measured the length of
six stacked shopping carts and found out that it was 71
inches.
How can you tell that 2 carts stacked together is NOT
equal to 2 · 36 ?
