You stack 20 identical cans on top of a block of wood. The total height of the cans and the block of wood is 97 inches. 35 cans on top of the same block of wood is 167.5 inches tall. Your friends are stacking different cans that are all the same size on a different sized block. When they stack 30 of their cans on their block the total height of the cans and block is 185.5 inches. 42 of their cans stacked on top of their block is 257.5 inches tall.
