a poster is being designed to advertise an upcoming show. It will be rectangular, and the printer requires a 1 inch margin on all four sides. To keep from paying an oversize fee, the promoter of the show wants the overall height of the poster to be 24 inches. The designer feels like the printed area needs to have a perimeter of about 75 inches. How wide should the poster be to make it as big as possible to meet these conditions?
