Sarah and Kimberly are studying transformations using triangles. Triangle ABC and triangle DEF are both plotted on a coordinate plane. Sarah notices that if she translates triangle ABC 5
units left and then translates it down 3 units, the result is triangle DEF. Kimberly says that if
she firsts translate triangle ABC down 3 units and then translates it 5 units left, the resulting
triangle will be different than Sarah's triangle DEF. Is Kimberly correct? Explain your answer
and tell whether triangle ABC and DEF are congruent.
