Bunny-Luv produce baby carrots and pack them into bags with 1-lb and 2-lb labels. However, the bags do not weigh exactly as labeled. Suppose: the weight of prepackaged 1-lb bag of baby carrots follows a normal distribution with a mean of 1.15 pounds and a standard deviation of 0.05 pound. the weight of prepackaged 2-lb bag of baby carrots follows a normal distribution with a mean of 2.12 pounds and a standard deviation of 0.08 pound. If we select two 1-lb bags and one 2-lb bag randomly, what is the percent chance that the sum of two 1-lb bags exceeds the weight of one 2-lb bag? Type your answer in two decimal places and do NOT type "%" in your answer. Hint: two 1-lb bags also follows a normal distribution. First determine its mean and variance, then calculate the probability that total weight of two 1-lb bags exceeds the weight of one 2-lb bag. The latter part is similar to the practice test's question.
