A mama pelican is  out hunting for her recently-hatched babies’ favorite food…shrimp!  She is excited to find a group of 300 shrimp in the rocks right at the shoreline!  Unfortunately, her nest full of babies is up the beach 100 meters away from the shoreline and she can only carry a maximum of 100 shrimp in her beak at time.  To make matters worse, she can’t help but swallow one shrimp for every meter that she flies (or walks).    How can you get the maximum number of shrimp to her nest?
