Slope intercpet form is y = mx + b

1:

y = 0.5x + 34

It is 34 so our b aka y-intercept is 34, and it is rising by 0.5 so our m is 0.5

2:

y = x + 40

A movie is 1 dollar so 1x = x and the pass is 40 so our b aka y-intercept is 40

3:

y = 5x + 3

Every hour is 5 (x=hour) plus a flat fee of 3 so our b aka y-intercept is 3
