The records at a particular two-year college classify a student as a freshman, a sopho-more, a student that has transferred out, or a student that has graduated. Each year 25% ofstudents transfer, 15% have to repeat the year, and 60% complete the year. Once a studenthas transferred or graduated they have a 100% chance of staying classified that way.
