will be 1 foot, so the roof will need to span a total of 52 feet. The roof ridge where two identical rafters will
meet will be in the exact middle of the house. So, each rafter will have a horizontal length of 26 feet. If the
ridge is 12 feet above the top of the frame of the house, what will be the pitch of the roof? Make sure to
give the pitch (slope) as a fraction in simplest form. Also, draw a simple diagram of the house with all
measurements labeled in the box provided:
