ok so the bottom of this shape is 4

the sides are 5 and there is two of them

and then if we count if looks like there is 2 going down and two going up so

4+5*2+2*2

4+10+2*2

4+10+4

14+4

18

logb(x) = y is equal to b^y =x

b = 3, y = 1

now solve for x:

3^1 = x+2)

x = 3-2

x = 1
