Include all labels, null and alternative hypotheses, sampling distribution curves drawn, full work, and a written conclusion using proper vocabulary
1.) A manufacturing process produces bags of cookies. The distribution of content weights of these bags is supposed to
be Normal with mean 15.0 oz and standard deviation 0.5 oz. We randomly selected 6 bags of cookies from the
manufacturer and weighed them, finding a sample mean of 14.63 oz.

a) You believe that the bags are being filled to a weight less than what they should be. State your null and alternative
hypotheses, then find the sample standard deviation and draw the sampling distribution.

b) Do you have evidence to show that the bags are being under-filled? Carry out a test of significance to test your
hypothesis and write up a conclusion on what you find out about dem cookies.
