The data shown below are simulated but are designed to reflect actual surveys conducted in the United States in March of 2020. Participants were asked whether they perceive that they have a substantial risk of
dying if they are infected with the novel coronavirus. The number of people stating each response, stratified
on age, are shown below (only two age groups are shown):
High Risk Not High Risk
Age < 30 24 203
Age > 60 32 126
The trend in the data is that younger people perceive themselves to be at lower risk of dying than older people. But is this trend only present in this sample, or is it generalizable to a broader population (say the entire US population)? That is the goal of conducting a statistical hypothesis test in this setting. Conduct the
test using a significance level of 0.1. Also, calculate the p‐value.

I've been working on this for a few days and i just don't understand, it's due in a few hours. you. the direction of a vector is defined as the angle of the vector in relation to a horizontal line. as a standard, this angle is measured counterclockwise from the positive x-axis. the direction or angle of v in the diagram is Îą. part a: how can you use trigonometric ratios to calculate the direction Îą of a general vector v = < x, y> similar to the diagram? part b suppose that vector v lies in quadrant ii, quadrant iii, or quadrant iv. how can you use trigonometric ratios to calculate the direction (i.e., angle) of the vector in each of these quadrants with respect to the positive x-axis? the angle between the vector and the positive x-axis will be greater than 90 degrees in each case. part c now try a numerical problem. what is the direction of the vector w = < -1, 6 > ?
