The manufacturer of a soft-drink brand is considering making changes to its formula and is conducting a taste test to see if the original or the new formula is preferred. The names of 100 potential customers are numbered from 00–99, and a table of random digits is used to select 50 subjects. The subjects are served both formulas of soft drink and asked to choose which they prefer.
