Use the function f(x) to answer the questions:

f(x) = 2x2 − 3x − 5

Part A: What are the x-intercepts of the graph of f(x)? Show your work. (2 points)

Part B: Is the vertex of the graph of f(x) going to be a maximum or a minimum? What are the coordinates of the vertex? Justify your answers and show your work. (3 points)

Part C: What are the steps you would use to graph f(x)? Justify that you can use the answers obtained in Part A and Part B to draw the graph. (5 points)

The graph below shows a company's profit f(x), in dollars, depending on the price of pencils x, in dollars, sold by the company:

Part A: What do the x-intercepts and maximum value of the graph represent? What are the intervals where the function is increasing and decreasing, and what do they represent about the sale and profit? (4 points)

Part B: What is an approximate average rate of change of the graph from x = 2 to x = 5, and what does this rate represent? (3 points)

Part C: Describe the constraints of the domain. (3 points)

I would give more points but i do not want to be sc-ammed again, so if you write both questions I will make a question or two upon request with a bunch of points, it would be a simple math question like 50+50 or something so that doesn't remove your points. :)
