Liam is planning a trip to Ireland and plans to pay for his airfare using Air Miles. The cost for a flight from Toronto to Dublin is $625 plus $123 in fees and HST. Liam will need a
return ticket as well which retails for the same cost. Liam also intends to use his Aeroplan
points to get the flight. The cost of a flight in Aeroplan points is 80,000 one way and does
not include additional fees, but does include HST. Liam currently has 120,000 Aeroplan
points and plans to drain his account on these flights. How much will Liam pay for his
trip?
Hint: Sales Tax (HST) in Ontario is 13%
