A pump is set up to pump the water into a different pond that currently only contains 1,000 gallons of water. The pump can pump water at the rate of 5,000 gallons per hour. The pump will stop operating when the volume of the flooded pond is reduced to 125,000 gallons or when the two ponds have the same amount of water, whichever comes first. When will the pump stop operating?
