Using graphs to Relate Two Qualities I’m struggling with these, i just transferred to online school, and only learned this stuff on graphing calculators at my old public school. (I ordered a graphing calculator but won’t be here until Saturday)

the square root of 16 is 4. it is a very simple mathematic concept. a square root when a number multiplied by itself will result in a number. here, the number 16 comes when 4 is multiplied by 4. hence the square root of 16 is 4. you can always figure out a square root by the inverse operation of squaring.

notice how it forms 2 triangles inside one bigger triangle.

so if we know the angle spr is the same as psr that is saying the measure of angle p is the same as angle s. this means the big triangle psr is either isosceles or equilateral. in both cases, the triangle is perfectly symmetrical when split down the middle, which is in this case rq. because we know it is perfectly symmetrical on both sides, we know that the two triangles inside the bigger one are equal.
