Unit 7 focuses on probability and its real-life applications. I enjoy probability problems because I think they are fun and engaging. I really liked the reading from this unit, it seemed a lot shorter and more to the point than other units. The material from this unit was also very easy to understand, which made it even more enjoyable to work on. Even though the material was shorter, I was still shocked by the number of different formulas. Many of these formulas were new to me. My previous math classes never went as in-depth into probability as this one. I was also concerned at first because there was less instruction during this section but way more sections than any other unit. Some of these sections were super easy, while other I struggled with. I used videos from khanacedmy. com when I got confused on a certain type o problem. Khan Academy is great resource, because they have short videos that demonstrate, explain, and work through a problem step by step. Khan Academy rarely uses the exact problems given on our assignments, so I still have to work out the problems myself, which helps me remember how to do them even better.
