Afigure has a vertex at (-1, -3). if the figure has line symmetry about the y-axis, what are the coordinates of another vertex of the figure?

a) (-3, -1)

b) (3, 1)

c) (1, -3)

Its (1,-3) simply reflect it above the y-axis, if one vertex is on the negative side and the symmetry if about the y axis (y=0) therefore the reflection means the x value becomes inverse -1 changes to 1 and -3 remains the same
