Write an equation in slope-intecept form for the line that passes through (8,-1) and is perpendicular to y=-4x-7

Hello:
the equation is : y = ax+b
the slope is a : a×(-4) = -1( perpendicular to a line with a slope of 4)

a= 1/4

: y = (1/4)x + b

the line that passes through (8, -1) : -1 = (1/4)(8)+b
b =-3
 the equation is :  y  = (1/4)x-3
