Find the median and model for each set of data .

heights of buildings in feet : 35,42,40,25,42,54,50

Hi!  So, when we want to find the median of a data set, the first step is to order the numbers from least to greatest:  25, 35, 40, 42, 42, 50, 54.  Now that we have ordered the numbers from least to greatest, we find the middle number.  The middle number in our data set 42.  And 42 is our median.  The mode of a  data set is the number that appears the most.  If we look at our data set, we see that 42 is listed twice.  So, 42 is our mode.  Hope this helps! :-)
