One real-world problem that is solved by an equation
Johnny deposits $2,000 into a bank account. If the interest rate is 5% per month how much will he have gained in interest in 6 years?
5% of 2,000 is 100
100 x 12 = 1,200
1,200 x 6 = 7,200
Johnny would gain $7,200 in 6 years
