Abuilding contractor cut a 3 1 4 foot piece off a 12 foot piece of wood. the remaining piece of wood was then cut into 7 equal lengths.

Determine the remaining length of the piece of wood by subtracting the 3.25 ft from 12 ft. 
                            remaining length = 12 ft - 3.25 ft = 8.75 ft
Then, divide the remaining length by 7
                             = 8.75 ft / 7 = 1.25 ft
Thus, the length of the 7 pieces is 1.25 ft. 

There is no graph but what i can say is that 1 is the slope and that -2 is the y- intercept
