You can convert it all to eighths to get a common denominator so then it's 5 2/8, 6 7/8, and 8 4/8. And then you can convert it to irrational numbers because I find those easier. So then you have 42/8, 55/8, and 68/8. If you subtract 55 from 68 that's 13 and if you subtract 55 from 42 that's also 13. So it keeps increasing by 13/8. For Thursday it will be 68 + 13 = 81. So that's 81/8 but we need to find Friday NOT Thursday. So we add 13 to 81 which is 94. So he bikes 94/8 miles on Friday but I'm sure you want a mixed number not irrational so that's 11 5/8 as a mixed number.

Jaime will bike 11 5/8 miles on Friday if he continues this pattern.
