Why would an environmental group work to discourage people from moving to florida?

I think it's because of the issue of sustainability and pollution. Many companies have been expanding their business in Florida. Florida used to be one of the best producers in the US. However, because of the on-going expansion, people moving in and out of the state can lead to overpopulation and shortage on food supply. Florida is also known for its marine ecology. Expansion can also severe pollution and extinction of some animals that are found in the state
