In this case your first number is 6 for which you would run until you’re at 6 on the x axis line or the line going left to right then jump to straight up because it’s a positive number. Because you’re jumping up you’re going to jump 2 on the y axis line or the line going up and down. Your point doesn’t need to be exactly on either line.
